Canport Freight Broker was founded in 2024 by Pedram Fouladirad to compliment his North American company, ICS Shipping Consultant, established in 2012. With over 33 years of experience across multiple industries—including founding an engineering firm specializing in production lines and leading a successful freight forwarding company—Pedram brings a deep understanding of logistical challenges and a talent for crafting tailored supply chain solutions.

From an early age, Pedram had a passion for design and problem-solving, which naturally led him to a career in engineering. He founded an engineering company specializing in the international trade of new and used production lines. Over seven successful years, Pedram served as an exclusive sales representative for leading manufacturers from Germany, Italy, and the United Kingdom. It was during this time that Pedram recognized how his passion for negotiation and his appreciation for design converged in the global freight industry. Within just six months, he launched his own freight forwarding company, scaling it from a small team of five to an organization of 118 employees. Now, as an independent freight broker, Pedram draws on his extensive experience to identify opportunities others might overlook. His deep understanding of logistics, combined with his sharp negotiation skills, continues to drive his success in the industry.

Shamim is an expert in the international transportation industry, with over 18 years of expertise in key managerial roles, including Deputy Sales, Marketing Manager, Documentation and Customer Service Manager, Internal Manager, and CEO. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering (Hardware) and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Strategic Marketing. With strong skills in multitasking, teamwork, time management, and problem-solving, Shamim brings a strategic and solution-oriented approach to business operations, ensuring efficiency and excellence in service delivery.
Sarah began her career in Ottawa, Canada, as a third-generation Real Estate Broker, earning multiple industry awards. Her strong business acumen led her to a leadership role, where she managed a company while serving as a Director on a major industry board. For the past eight years, Sarah has applied her experience & expertise to her management role at ICS Shipping Consultant, where she brings a strong financial focus and a strategic approach to business operations. A dynamic leader, she excels in strategic planning, organization, and negotiation, always embracing challenges with confidence and precision.
